Maintenance Technician

Maintenance is responsible for helping to oversee and conducting installation, maintenance and repair of the company facilities and equipment by working with the Maintenance Manager and B&J staff.
Maintenance must have a solid understanding of plumbing, HVAC and electrical systems.
They must also be well versed in health and safety regulations including a high aptitude in administration such as reporting and budgeting.
The primary goal of this position is to ensure the company facilities are well-cared for and that adequate resources are in place to support the company business operation.
Duties:
Plan, develop and organize preventive maintenance schedule and supporting instructions for facilities and equipment-based manufacturers recommendations and past maintenance history Carry out inspection and preventive maintenance of facilities and equipment including electrical, water and air systems to mitigate risk of downtime due to equipment or system failure Work with outside sources for facility improvements, repairs or expansions including installation, repair and alignment of equipment, per Manager direction Work with all B&J medical Employees to meet environmental, health and safety regulations Work with Maintenance Manager on health and safety issues including training and monitoring Adherence to Maintenance budget.
Follow direction provided by Maintenance Manager.

Creative Problem Solving/Analysis Organized and Self motivated Must have good communication skills Must show willingness to develop new skills and competencies.
Academic Competencies:
Industrial Management Mathematics including Problem Solving Systems Development Health and Safety Experience, Education and Certifications:
High School Diploma, and Certifications are encouraged but not required Job Type:
